Partner Advisory Committee
Welcome to the One West Tourism Association Partner Advisory Council—a vibrant gathering of passionate minds, united by a shared love for the growth of the tourism industry. Think of this group as the ultimate dream team, where innovation meets inspiration.
This council is dedicated to elevating the One West experience for all partners and providing guidance on partner benefits, engagement opportunities, and activities that will benefit the entire membership.
Public Lands Committee (new for 2026/2027)
The Public Lands Committee brings together destinations and partners to collaborate on issues impacting tourism on public lands across the West. From national parks and forests to BLM lands and scenic recreation areas, this committee will explore strategies around visitor management, sustainability, stewardship, and responsible tourism. Members will share best practices, discuss emerging challenges, and help elevate the role DMOs can play in protecting and promoting these incredible natural assets for future generations.
Managing Wildfire & Smoke for Outdoor Recreation Destinations
This committee will be for tourism destinations that are built around a strong summer outdoor recreation economy that are now dealing with the challenges of being heavily impacted by the threat of smoke and/or wildfires and their negative impact on the visitor experience and visitor economy.

This group will share best practices, explore new methodologies, and help guide research initiatives that support smarter destination marketing and management. Members will discuss trends, data challenges, and emerging tools while helping shape collaborative research opportunities that benefit the entire One West community.
